What Is Man's Chief End?

Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy Him for ever. [b]
[a]. Ps. 86:9; Isa. 60:21; Rom. 11:36; I Cor. 6:20; 10:31; Rev. 4:11
[b]. Ps. 16:5-11; 144:15; Isa. 12:2; Luke 2:10; Phil. 4:4; Rev. 21:3-4
Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! Banana Bread~Modified! :)

>> Tuesday, November 24, 2009

This is my first recipe to post. I have modified it from the original recipe provided by Jane Fonda in her book, Cooking for Healthy Living. I have experimented with this recipe many times, using different flours and sugar substitutes. I also added chocolate chips! Each time was pretty good, but the last time it turned out dry. But this time, I have to say, it turned out quite yummy! :) So here's the original recipe with my BEST modification.

Jane's Recipe:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My Recipe:

2c unbleached flour~~~~~~~~~2c unbleached Whole Wheat flour

2tsp baking powder~~~~~~~~~ 2tsp baking powder

1/2tsp baking soda~~~~~~~~~~ 1/2tsp baking soda

1/2tsp salt~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1/2tsp salt

4 large, overripe bananas~~~~~~ 4 large, overripe bananas

2 egg whites~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 egg whites, or 1 egg

3/4c sugar~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3/4c Organic Agave Nectar

1/4c lowfat buttermilk~~~~~~~~ 1/4c milk

1tsp vanilla extract~~~~~~~~~~ 1tsp vanilla extract

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ some chocolate chips!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl from the wet ingredients. Then mix dry with wet, or vice versa. Mix slowly, never too harsh. Then add chocolate chips.
Bake for 55-60 minutes and voila!! Now you have a moist and tasty banana bread! Enjoy!
