THE WESTMINSTER SHORTER CATECHISM
Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! The Wife & The Rib~~to PROTECT and BLESS...

I've always thought about why God chose to use Adam's rib to form Eve. Sure, I've thought about husbands not walking all over their wives and wives being by their husband's side. Notice how that kind of thinking is for MY benefit!!! How selfish of me!

I can honestly say I've never thought of the woman being formed in order to protect and bless her man! Sure, to bless him...I get that. But to protect him? Isn't that what the man is supposed to do for his woman?

I love my husband, and I know that God has brought me a long way to move me away from the feminism movement and that line of thinking. I try to bless my husband by serving him. But protecting him is so new to me.

Can't wait to get to Sunny's next lesson to see what the Lord has revealed to her about this.
