What Is Man's Chief End?

Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy Him for ever. [b]

THE WESTMINSTER SHORTER CATECHISM
Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! In this is Love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

When I think of the Cross of Christ, I am AMAZED!

It amazes me that God would love me so much to suffer for me. Who am I that He should look upon me and love me so??

It amazes me that Jesus would even consider becoming my sin in order to save me from it!!

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

It amazes me and even makes me cry sometimes when I gaze upon the Cross and think how I've been so unfaithful to Him in my life. Oh Jesus, forgive me! He loves me even in my unfaithfulness!

It amazes me how the Cross still, and always will, work in my life. The power of the Cross will stand forever.

Jesus Amazes me!

Are you amazed?
