What Is Man's Chief End?

Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy Him for ever. [b]

Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! Thankful Thursday~March 11, 2010

>> Friday, March 12, 2010

Right now it is 4am Friday morning...My mind is reeling with so many things I need to do. Sleep is a luxury for me these days. So, here I am being Thankful!

First of all, I'm thankful for my Savior and His loving convictions. He has convicted me this week about many things. Even though it can be painful at times, it is also very rewarding knowing that He cares for me enough to set me straight. Thank You, Jesus!

Secondly, I am thankful that my ultrasound of our baby BOY looks healthy and normal. I praise God for that! Now its time to forget about all the GIRL names, and focus on BOY names!!!! Boy number 3 is going to make life even more interesting!!

Thirdly, I am thankful for my family. Even though they laugh at me every day, I know that they love me...even with all my faults. I am thankful that we laugh together as a loving family. "Baby brain" keeps them on their toes!! LOL!

Fourthly, I am thankful that our new heating and cooling unit is still working, even though it looked as if it was not working properly last week. And I'm thankful that my hubby kept his head on straight (somewhat, with a little encouragement from me) during the whole deal.

And Fifthly, I am thankful for SLEEP... when I can get it!!!!!!

A great way to start your morning, being thankful! Congratulations on your new baby boy on his way. I too am thankful when the Lord corrects me, He loves us too much not to! Thank you Jesus for keeping us on the straight path!
Have a awesome day! Look to Jesus!
