What Is Man's Chief End?

Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy Him for ever. [b]
[a]. Ps. 86:9; Isa. 60:21; Rom. 11:36; I Cor. 6:20; 10:31; Rev. 4:11
[b]. Ps. 16:5-11; 144:15; Isa. 12:2; Luke 2:10; Phil. 4:4; Rev. 21:3-4
Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! A Perfect Time for My 100th Post!

>> Sunday, January 2, 2011

Yes, I'm still here, among the living!  I've been missing my blog for some time now, and as Christmas slipped by and how the New Year is here, I thought this would be the best time for my 100th Post!!!

Wow!!  100 big ones!  When I started this blog, I was definitely a newbie.  To put myself out there for the world to see was a step of faith for me.  I'm not one to share so much about myself, as a way to protect myself.  And yes, I have been criticized rather harshly before about something on here, so to be this far in the journey of blogging is quite an accomplishment.  Accomplishment??  Sure for me, to stick with something this long, knowing that there are some who just do not like what I have to say.  :)

So, where have I been all of this time??  Well, since you're so curious...

Well, mostly sick!  The whole family has had "something" in the last 2 months.  And I had "it" twice!!  Not to mention caring for the baby, trying my best to keep him well.  With much prayer and disinfecting, he stayed well mostly, until just recently.  To hear him gurgle in his chest is so pitiful, but so far it hasn't changed into anything too bad.  It's been amazing to watch how week by week, someone else would get sick!!  UGH!!

Other than that, which has been bad enough... getting ready for Christmas, traveling to see family, and playing with my new toy!!

What??  A new toy?  Yep, I got an iTouch!!!!    Yea, me!!  I love my iTouch!!  Now, I know that I shouldn't be in love with a "thing", but I have to admit, I am....

I am amazed at all of the things you can do with this thing.  And I will say that my favorites are what you can do with the Bible apps.  Plus I found ( and paid for ) a Memory Verse app.  Its just amazing.  So I have been playing a lot, too!  LOL!

Its the New Year and time to get back to work and a regular,( if there is such), routine.  Yep, I said ROUTINE!  We have been so far away from that word, that I don't even know what it means anymore.  So, tomorrow is the day of reckoning.  I pray that we will be able to acquire a sense of routine in our days, with baby and school work.  Not to mention normal home blessing chores and everyday living.  My Little Arrow is 5 months old now, so it is just a bit easier, but not entirely.  So, I will need much prayer and grace.

Now that I'm back, hopefully in the coming days I will have the time to post more often.  I love to share my heart and convictions... and yes, opinions.

Happy New Year Everyone!!  May God bless you all!

Hey SHellie! I was JUST thinking about you today and wondering how you and the family were doing! So glad to catch you on your 100th post! :) Congrats!

Sounds like you've been keeping overly busy! I'm feeling the same way about getting back to a routine tomorrow. We've had the last 10 or so days off school, so Monday should prove to be interesting.

We've just been trying to get well from our first rounds of this fever/headcold thing. I'm praying that we're done for the season, but time will tell. :)

Take care and God bless you and yours in the New Year!

Congrats on the 100th post! I know that for all 100 posts you have sought to bring Him honor, so this is an encouraging milestone.

Praying for health for your family in this new year and that you would find some routine.

Thank you so much for leaving me a comment. I will do my best to reply in a timely manner. Keep in mind that I am a busy, homeschool mom and wife, so please give me grace if I am not able to respond quickly.

Remember that this is a Christian blog, so I will not give any time to rude, inflammatory, or gossipy comments. We can agree to disagree, but only in a loving, Christlike manner.

Blessings to You,
