What Is Man's Chief End?

Man's chief end is to glorify God, [a] and to enjoy Him for ever. [b]
[a]. Ps. 86:9; Isa. 60:21; Rom. 11:36; I Cor. 6:20; 10:31; Rev. 4:11
[b]. Ps. 16:5-11; 144:15; Isa. 12:2; Luke 2:10; Phil. 4:4; Rev. 21:3-4
Every new believer has been set apart by God, separated unto God to be transformed into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this sense, every believer is a saint- a person separated from his old sinful way of life and set apart by God to increasingly glorify God as his life is transformed! When Blogging Is a Chore

>> Sunday, May 22, 2011

That's right.  Blogging has become one of those things on my To-Do list!  And what a shame!

I love blogging.  I love to sit and type what is going on with me.  If someone reads it and is encouraged in some way, then I am happy.  If someone reads it and goes away scratching their heads, then I'm still happy!  At least I got you to think.  LOL!

But, unfortunately, keeping up with this has been a chore.  I am always thinking that I need to post something to keep it up and running, but just finding the time to do it has been a challenge.

Right now, my little arrow is sleeping, thankfully.  So I thought I would rush and post what is on my mind now.

Should I let my blog sleep a while?  Or should I just simply close it?  Naw!  I would miss it too much.  I love reading the blogs that I follow, so I will keep it running.  But just knowing that this thing is just sitting here dormant bugs me.

So, what should I do?

If you leave me a comment to let me know YOUR thoughts on it, to let me know if you're even interested, that would be great.

Thanks and Blessings to Ya!

Oh, don't close down! Even if you take a hiatus, you'll surely want to come back at some point. If it would bug you to post nothing at all, just give us a quick update once a month - as you did here. The "fire" will come back in due time. :^)

I love reading your blog, you're a like-minded sister and a blessed mother of children. I would certainly miss you if you quit totally. But, I also respect believers when they hear the voice of the Lord, so if He is asking you to give it up, I will trust that.

However, you love writing and like me, at home with kids needing fellowship, maybe you stick to shorter blogs for the time being...a thought on one verse...a cute thing one of your kids did, an answered prayer, to stay writing until you have time for deeper, longer posts. Will pray for guidance for you!

I say keep your blog and just post an update every once in a while! :) It's not like you're busy chasing a baby AND homeschooling your older ones or anything! :)
God bless!

Oh, you guys, thank you for the encouraging words. I certainly do not want to close my blogs for good. I guess I'm just concerned that everyone would lose interest if I'm not on top of it! Is that selfish??

I understand. I used to blog for an income. I posted about 50 times each month. Now I only blog occasionally. I miss it and at times I feel guilty for not posting. I finally had to realize that it was my season of life. Hopefully I can blog more this summer.

Thank you so much for leaving me a comment. I will do my best to reply in a timely manner. Keep in mind that I am a busy, homeschool mom and wife, so please give me grace if I am not able to respond quickly.

Remember that this is a Christian blog, so I will not give any time to rude, inflammatory, or gossipy comments. We can agree to disagree, but only in a loving, Christlike manner.

Blessings to You,
Saint Shellie
